Why do you sad fucks actually care whether blink-182 are "true" punk? You either like the band or you don't. You idiots calling the fans posers just seem to be putting across the message that you like the music you like simply because it's looked upon as being in the punk genre. It's very sad... I personnally like what you people seem to be calling the harder punk. I like Rancid, Op Ivy, Misfits, AFI... shit like that. I'll also proudly admit that blink made that accessible to me. Think about it. Where did you hear about these bands? Most of my friends certainly don't hear of them. I found them through speaking to people on the net, which started off when I was about 12/13 and really into blink... I don't listen to them much anymore, but now and again... I just grew out of this stuff, but if it's what helps the world make sense for their fans, then good for them. Just don't judge. |
