| O.A.R. – About Mr. Brown Lyrics

I don't know why but I think this song is about a transient...a bum. They're all so generalized these days, it's like they don't have identities, so it's all Mr. Smith, or Mr. Brown, or that bum, you know? I think the singer is talking to one of these bums, and he's like, hey do you remember your family? Do you remember when you had an identity, and you had brothers, sisters, a mother, daughters, whatever. Do you know what these people are up to these days? You try and tell me about all this stuff, but "what can you say about tomorrow? what can you tell me about my life?" The more I listen to this song, that's what I get out of it...just try listening to it with that perspective and see what you think. |

| Fenix TX – Ordinary World (Duran Duran cover) Lyrics

Okay, what kind of crack are you guys smoking, and where can I get some? This song blows ass compared to Duran Duran's version. The slow tempo and slight echo is what makes the original great, and Fenix TX let all of that go. Kudos to them for covering it, but let's face it, they screwed it up by making it too fast. I mean, come on, it's a freaking love song! |
