glen Danzig was a fucking genius in the aspect that he mixed horror and horror movies with politics. This is based on the 1968 horror movie, but I think it is used as a metephor for what the motives of alot of people are, like "leaders" or "presidents" or "dictators", all the same, whatever you want to call it. I think he's saying "all i want to know" is why they do it?? |

Actually, Im stoned now, and I think that the loved one part is a satire, where he is all sarcastic about the fact that he is bringing a love one to watch the horrificness of the world. |

I listened to this song on Mushrooms once and It had a whole new meaning, kind of like what Gren described, like everything was falling to shit and it was just me and a loved one, in each others arms, holding on because there was nothing we could do about it we might as well be with each other and hold on to the moment, and not interupt with useless words. And Radiohead is an Anarchist band btw. |
