this is by far my facorite Rage song!! its intense and hits close to home... i completely agree.. in World Hisory we spend 3 weeks total, trying to study 8 non-europan cultures... the we spend a month on Renaissance artists.. even though we did this in 7th grade and everyone already knows most of the artists, authors, etc. we talked about (Michelangelo, Da Vinci)..i get that they are important... but still... art history= art class no? i realized i just bitched about my individual curriculum (sp) but i am sure its similar for the rest of you... as for jretard... calm yourself... he was just talking about how much he liked the solo... u say so yourself you think rage is awesome.. you agree on the issue.. why do you have to act like a jerk-off for no reason? |

that guy is wreong about super-leftist= anarchy... you can have a capitalist anarchy(although most, including myself, consider it fake)... read up on Objectivism and Libertarianism... you can also have an anarchistic socialist state... btw, anarchy gets such a bad rap because losers who don't get it put the little A on their backpack, it becomes mainstream and stupid.. but it actually has a lot of merits.. personally i don't think we are ready for an anarchistis state.. but read Utopia or the manuscripts by Marx... www.zmag.org is a great source too... as for the song.. i always took to mean about Mumia and police brutality.. and the fuck you i won't do what you tell me.. i THOUGHT that was in response to the propoganda of cops always being so perfect (COPS, Police Academy, Law and Order, etc.).. i'm not saying they are evil.. but they definitely ARE NOT perfect.. please don't criticize me blatantly... these are my opinons and i have a right to them... if youdisagree thats cool tell me.. but a lot of you seem to just make fun of each other over and over again without warrants (no offense) |

Zapata died in the early 1900s... the Zapatista named themselves after him because he was a revolutionary standing up for rights... their leader is philosophy major Subcomandante Marcos... and btw, i think the song is about the US feds and thier war.. or war in general... bulls on parade [for kamikaze84]... bull market =upwards economy.. bulls = rich people... they are talking about the rich govt. is using funds on huge war aresenals.. parade as in going crazy about it... thousands on new weapons... i.e. the bunker busters in IRaq right now.. at least thats my take... |

this song isn't about Zapatistas (indians in mexico dealing with the mexican land divisions)... its about Native Americans in the US... this song was written before the movement even was known... Landlords and power whores (the feds) On my people they took turns (opression) Dispute the suits I ignite (treaties, lawsuits, rebellion, etc.) And then watch 'em burn (burn as in deny them...) now he says he is gonna fight back they are gonna burn... as in its their turn.. so the one guy is right... but its about US Native Americans.. hence the manifest destiny.. oh and he was using that to explain their justification for their opression oh.. and forget the stars... stupideest guy ever.. listening to rage=dumb? name one more band of the 90s that reached out politically to as many ppl? you can't... you were to busy listening to the ""underground"" ""beats"" of Limp Bizkit and Korn? wren't ya? u pansy |
