what an amazing lyric. i think a good guess is heartbreak, but i'm not sure it necessarily is. i think it's about someone who is keeping a tremendous pain inside of him and now it's starting to take over his life...the falling pictures are metaphors for broken memories maybe, i don't know... |

i just finished a tale of two cities too adn i sort of agree w/ serotoningone about it being about the french revolution. i think there's a bigger metaphor here and geoff is using the revolution as a symbol for something...i haven't thought enough about it to see what the larger picture is...and about the whole drag queen thing, i don't doubt it, but i would have never guessed it... |

the imagery in this song is unreal. honestly some of the best i've ever read.
