I am really impressed with you guys. I'm so happy to see you disagreeing but not frekaing out on eachother. I am gonna have to lean more to this song being about his relationship with Jesus Christ. Someone said something about the line about the smile. They said it wouldn't be about Jesus. But as a Christian I would have to say that the smile on Jesus' face would definately send me to my knees. The whole "grace" line is also powerful. That is something that can only come from God. Not from a girl. Also I think that the idea of summer and winter is definately a consistent theme in their songs. Winter is often used in poetry to simbolize darkness, and in many Christian poems it refers to the time "away" from Jesus. Their lyrics are definately powerful and very poetic. The line about his arms I definately see as him reaching out to Christ. And the idea of becoming one with Jesus is pretty much what Christianity is all about. I also would like to comment that Jason is very spiritual. It isn't right for us to say whether he is more spiritual than Chris, but I have read numerous interviews, and the lyrics, and have heard him speak since he joined to band. And the things he says are very powerful, and he is all about Jesus Christ. I didn't notice it as much with Chris, but some people show it differently. Anyway, this song is a great song. Five Iron Frenzy – Anthem Lyrics

Our country is selfish. This is true. But, I think the song leans more to the idea of where freedom comes from. Our country is built up to have the "ultimate freedom". But, our freedom doesnt come from a flag. It comes from Jesus Christ. We have a god that loves us so much that He lets us decide what to do. "Your freedom isnt free", clearly Reese feels that freedom isnt real freedom without Jesus. "Jesus Christ the only thing that freedom means to me!"

This song is funny. But it isn't really worht squat. i'm actually glad that there wasn't a follow up to it on FIF 2. They are a fun group, but they are the best because of their real stuff.

You almost have the whole story. brad missed a show, i didn't know about Val filling in for him. But, Brad missed because he was sick. The next day on teh internet there were tons of rumors circulating that Brad had died, that the band was breaking up and other stuff. Maybe you had all that info already r6folife, but I couldn't tell. Five Iron is awesome!

Relient K – Softer To Me Lyrics

This song is great. And blinkfan, whether you like their music or not is one thing. But for you to come on and say that God does not belong in music is wrong. God created music. The oldest forms of music are spirituals sung to praise God. And as Christians we are going to do that all we want. Plus, music is how people express themselves. So, if relient k is a Christian band, chances are they are going to express their faith through their music. I don't know if blinkfan will read this. He said that was his last comment. But I hope he does. If not, to all you Christians out there, keep going. To all the non-christians who defended our beliefs, Thanks.

Kutless – Grace And Love Lyrics

This song is great. This band is great. I love "heavier" music, and I love when those bands do softer songs. So many things in our lives can weigh us down. When this happens it is so easy for us to take our focus off of God. We turn from the cross and try to find comfort in other things. But no matter how hard we search, we will never find anything as good as God's love for us. We are born into sin, and we don't deserve anything except death. But because of God's "Grace and Love", we are given a chance to live forever with him. Everybody needs to hear this song. Nothing compares to Christ he is awesome. Peace!
