LOSERkid I respect you for standing up for Blink, but I would like to know why you like them? They are a bunch of 30 year olds talking about love and crap it's disgusting. I do respect your opinion though. And I love all those bands that you named in your final post (Operation Ivy is my favorite band actually). Trust me I don't call myself punk and I don't wear stupid wristbands and all that other crap that the Sex Pistols invented (I'm sorry to say but they mad the punk "fashion). Later |

And I hate how they think punk is a fashion and Benji dresses up like some hardcore punker. What a load of crap! I hate this band...just another corporate MTV pop band... |

This song is terrible. Blink 182 is an insult to music and they think they are a punk band. And now all of there followers are going around calling themselves punks...its so annoying!! I agree with everyone who is against Blink 182 here. I myself loved Blink 182 until their live CD came out. I bought it, of course, and even though I was like 10 back then I didn't find it funny at all. Their "humor" is swearing, fart jokes, and stupidity. I cannot stress how bad this band is. This song, and those defending it, show how our society has gone to hell. This band along with Sum41, Good Charlotte, Simple Plan, and all of the other corporate bands on MTV really disgust me. Open your eyes people!! This isn't music, its crap! I suggest you spend your money on good music (The Misfits, AFI, Nirvana, The Smashing Pumpkins, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, The Ramones, I could go on forever). All of those bands have something to offer in their music and you are chosing Blink 182 over them? That is ridiculous. I would also like to touch on the talent these people actually have (which ain't much). I play bass and I could play Mark Hoppus' basslines the first day I got my bass. The same note countless times, no originality whatsoever and a disgrace to the bass guitar. Tom Delonge is also terrible, any good guitarist knows this. Travis Barker I have to admit is a good drummer. Even the drummer in my band (a huge Blink hater) agrees that he has talent. The vocals in Blink 182 are horrible, and I for one can't stand to listen to a second of there music and I don't understand how I ever did. I agree they are HUGE sellouts and everyone who likes them needs to listen to some real music. This song is a disgrace... |
