Another little fact about France and Iraq is that France is the most beneficial counrty from the current rule in Iraq. Since 1996, France's trade total for the oil-for-food program with Iraq has totaled $3.1 billion, according to the U.N. Also, guess who the three next biggest beneiftters of Iraqi trade are...Germany, Russia and China. Pretty ironic that these are the biggest voices in the U.N. against the war on Iraq, eh? I guess America isn't the only money hungry country... |
