This song is about God, there is no arguement, he has said in many interviews that "Lifehouse" is a "Christian" band, he wrote this song about God and what God does in him and to him. All of you that have this song as a song between you and your partner, that's great, but just know that it was God that put you two together and that without him, you two would have never met. "Steadlydrowning" I know how you're feeling and although you may not believe me, I really do, just hang in there and things will be okay, I'll be praying for you. |

Okay, well obviously everyone is going to have a different opinon about what this song means to them, but it has a simple message that everyone should hear. It's saying for everyone that there is nothing wrong with knowing Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and that anyone that believes in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior should never ever be ashamed of it. If you just listen to the chorus, it says it right there: "What will people think when they hear that I'm a Jesus Freak, what will people do when they find that it's true, I don't really care if they label me a Jesus Freak, there aint no disguising the truth." This is a song about not being ashamed of knowing the truth in life and that we should have a sense of pride in knowing what the real truth in life is, and by the way, "merak" I also know what I'm talking about, my Father is a pastor. |
