I think this song is about her trying to be fake and hold everything in on the inside because she's hurting and tired of it all. She'll act like one person in public but she's someone different on the inside and she wants the inside person to come out....I don't know if this is true or not but it's my interpetation on this song. I love No Doubt by the way...I've been a fan since the Tragic Kingdom cd (sp?) I love how on every cd they have a new sound..it keeps everything fresh and new. |

Ultimite band..all their songs have so many hidden meanings...the line "everything's my fault" i love it. i can relate to kurt cobain's lyrics perfectly. and i must say that i'm in love. R.I.P. Kurt p.s. Either way, suicide or murdered, Kurt is greatly missed and loved and that's all that matters now (but i still believe it was suicide..i've read up on it) |

I love this song...it's my favorite rite now. I'm a new found fan..and i wish someone would sing this song to me. It reminds me of a special someone. :) And I think it's about someone they look at from a-far and fall in love with but they realize that they don't really know this person and they wish they did. And if they had the guts to get to know them they're sure that this someone would be "the closest thing to perfect" |

| This song is my favorite on the whole cd..but all the songs I love. I'm in obsessed with this band! But the part of the song when he sings "on my own" kind reminds me of the Little Mermaid song when she has to sing so Ersula (the evil witch/octupus thingy) can take her voice and make her human. she sings " ah ah ahhh ah ah ah ahhhh"...i don't know, i'm a weird one. :p | |

The Used is my favorite band and this is one of their top songs. I think the meaning of the song could go either way of drugs or relationships. I'm not positive but I think (but what do I know?) that to the band it's about drugs because before they got really big they were addicted to a lot of different things....but now that they've quit they're doing all the things that they've dreamed of..such as being a band and getting their songs out to ppl... Yea well...maybe i'm crazy |
