I think Dave's, Jimi's and Bob's versions are all grand so why can't you guys just be happy? they are all different and can't really be compared side by side.. To take them and say this one is better than the other takes more than just personal opinion sometimes, You have to get down to the raw mechanics of the song, but they all have admirable traits... so everyone chill and enjoy the music. |

Interesting about the funeral thing... It seems like death is the most likely... but it could just be about isolation, being at complete peace with oneself by living alone and away from "push and shove" and not really being a member of a community or anything... just existing while everyone else keeps the world running aka "beneath their heels i'll spend my time" |

The woman in her 50sish is trying to defeat aging by surgery "pushing and pulling, conservative rolling" and finally when she's conquered her aging then everyone beautiful she's wanted to meet has already gone away because she spent so much time trying to fix herself to make her more beautiful, "killing the time that kills you" and the like... |
