Jesus Fucking Christ. This is some primitive shit. Thats why it rocks. Shit, most everything people listen to lately is primitive. People who say rap isn't music are saying that rock (or metal, grunge, whatever.) isn't music. Rock is only slighty more musically complicated than rap. Anyone here know what a riff is? And yeah, the lyrics are shit, but if I wanted to listen something meaningful I'd listen to Tool. Besides you rap what you know. I couldn't rap about living in the ghetto, I live in OC. 50 cent probably couldn't rap about surfing or some equally inane shit, could he? Maybe, he is a fucking good rapper. Fuck, I hate what he's saying, but when I first heard this song I was blown away at his style. Damn! Oh and descendent528, who the FUCK are you to say what's real music and what isn't hmm? What if real music was rocks being banged together in no particular rythym or time?, and the fucking Illuminati or some shit is trying to keep us from knowing the truth? Shit, it could be, seeing as how music is an individual's way of expressing oneself. Now, I'm not into rock banging personally, and I'm pretty sure no one bangs rocks to gether as a form of self-expression, but if people did, I would have no place judging or critisizing them because I don't bang rocks. Maybe if I did bang rocks I could say "Yo yo yo, your bang style is wack motherfucker!" but until then, I'll keep my mouth shut and let the profesionals do their thing. But that "eMpty TV" is pretty funny, mind if I use that? Anyway, rapping takes skill and anyone he thinks different should try doing it. Shit, maybe the reason so much rap is about bitches, 40s and Gs is because it's pretty fucking difficult to rap about anything meaningful. ALSO, MAYBE, JUST MAYBE, people in the ghetto don't want to be constantly reminded of how bad they have it. AND THEY JUST MAYBE want to lose themselves in a land of bitches, 40s and Gs, because their lives suck. Kind of like how people like reading fiction. |
