haha i like the porn mention, but i think its actually "there's hard feelings, there's pointless waste"
wonderful song, phil is absolutely one of my favorite song writers. it seems like putting direct meaning to any one song is kind of pointless, everything is so unified and every record is almost a song of its own. it seems more about getting the feeling across in general, like a movie. |

| Braid – Eulalia, Eulalia Lyrics

Bob said the song was pretty much about being so enamored that you feel like a little kid again. The name supposedly came from someone he knew with the name Eulalia, which is just a great name. Good song. |

It seems to me that at least some of it is analyzing people in general. We're nothing but animals, parts of the earth(that there tree grew outta me...) but somehow we see ourselves as superior. At least thats what most of the words seem to say. |

It seems to me that this song is more about accepting yourself than anything else. It's like when you see yourself or hear your voice or something and you think "that's not me." Almost all of Cap'n Jazz's lyrics tended to deal with adolescent emotions like this, and always in the most perfect ways. |

| Braid – Garner Hall Music Room Lyrics

I know that Garner Hall Music Room was the first practice space used by Braid, so this song probably refers to that, and seems to just consist of a description of it in Bob's great lyrical style. Plus there seems to be something like a safety procedure that they came across for it, as well. oh well. |
