I'm pretty sure this is about his girlfiend dying in a car wreck.. and he was driving the car when it happened, but he survived. I can't even imagine how painful that would be. This song is so emotional, its amazing. Great song, and probably the saddest song I've ever heard. |

This song is about a realization the singer has made about mankind and basically how fucked up we are and the fucked up way we've evolved as a species, and the fact that there is basically no hope of change because most people are ignorant, selfish, and greedy, and don't want to change the way they are living now even though there are so many things wrong with what we consider "normal".
