hmm. debate, anyone? alright... i'm not a big fan of this band. they're not wonderful to me by any means. just some stupid garage band with decent music. i hope we can all agree they're not musical geniuses, am i right? that doesn't mean i'm saying they're terrible. i've heard much better, and i've heard much worse. not a big deal. on the other hand... not only with this band, but with any band that makes it "big", i'm so sick of these elitist fucks whom think they know everything about music, and any music they don't appreciate themselves sucks. well, fuck you too, alright buddy? unless you can sit down and write and get people together and play any better than a band you're bashing... then just shut the fuck up. k thx. l0l. but seriously. and nothing else makes me angrier than the whiney kids who bitch when a band gets famous. what? do you think they were making good money being "underground"? they made shit (money wise), and you know it. and saying that you wish they never got big and never made money (making it harder on them to maintain a musical career as well as support themselves), makes you a selfish little bitch. how dare you depict to someone what they should and shouldn't do with their careers. "they owe you"? you made them so big? FUCK YOU. they could wake up one morning and want to do polka, and you'd have no say in it. their band, formed by them = their decisions. you're just not that important. stop thinking that you are. if you think that bashing a band that gets recognition-- think again. it does not make you look more sophisticated, just stupider. what's worse-- someone who likes something to be cool, or someone who STOPS liking something to be cool? how fucking hypocritical. i was an avid backstreet boy fan. yes, i went to 2 concerts. and i still listen to them every so often. look @ my favorites, i don't like many other poppy bands. but do i care what you think? no. did i care when people made fun of me? no. why the fuck should your opinion matter to me? "they're fake blah blah you're unoriginal you can't like them and like [insert rock band here]". oh, i can't? and who the fuck are you to tell me what i can't and can't like? i'll listen to whatever the fuck that i want, whether or not you like it too. that's what being an INDIVIDUAL is. goddamn. since when was musical variety a bad thing? just because you don't personally like a band, doesn't mean that they're bad. news flash: the world doesn't revolve around you. people have different likes and dislikes, get the fuck over it. *steps off of soapbox* alright. i'm done. whatever. that could've been worded so much better... but i haven't slept in 2 days and i'm lazy. sue me. |

| Jessicka Fodera is a goddess. I love Jack Off Jill, and each one of their songs have different meanings to me. Sure, this one isn't THAT dark and creepy. And yes, Angels Fuck and Strawberry Gashes are good songs, we know. People make it seem like those are the only amazing songs they have. I personally adore this song. It's one of those songs that sound a lot happier than they really are. It's very uppy, very rockabilly, and I fuckin' like it. Most JOJ songs you listen to and usually wind up more depressed (for me, at least). This song has a dark undertone, but you can also run around your house yelling and flailing and being hyper along with that. I think that's fuckin' awesome. | |
