Well, I found out this song is in fact a cover for the Crossroads Blues by Robert Johnson. I guess this song IS in fact about meeting the Devil at the crossroads and selling your soul to him so that you can play the guitar. |

Your right scooter, Cream is one of my favorite bands of all time. Do you have any idea what this song means? I know Cream was essentially an electric blues band, and the crossroads is a reoccuring theme in blues music.For example, Robert Johnson, one of the greatest blues musicians of all time sold his soul to the Devil at the crossroads. Could Cream's song have anything to do with that? |
