this song was written about my friend. she had cancer, and her wish from the Make a Wish Foundation was to meet OLP. when she did, they talked about their upcoming album, and what life means to them and stuff. when you see the video... the girl with cancer in the video looks like my friend did when she met them. plus "she gets high, she gets lost, she gets drowned by the cost, twice a day, every week..." is about her radiation treatments. yeah. it's a great song though. |

this song was written after john popper had his motorcycle accident. it's about how everything seemed hopeless... he was fat, he couldn't walk, and everything around him sucked... but because he was optimistic, he got everything back. sure, if you don't succeed you'd lose a lot, but it's worth it because it's possible to get everything back. that's what this song is about. but i agree, it's an amazing song. |
