A great song. However, I'm gonna pull a Hank Williams Jr quote here. "If the South woulda won, we'd have it made." My personal beliefs are that there shouldn't be any imigration. If you're hear...you can stay, but you gotta learn the "american way". I mean when I need to get a hotel room or buy a drink at the 7-11, I dont wanna buy it in Arabic. I want to buy it in ENGLISH. SPEAK ENGLISH OR GO HOME! Its that simple. The red blooded americans are the minoritys in this day and age. This song is about the passions a man has for his car. The part in the song "You make a grown man cry Spread out the oil, the gasoline I walk smooth, ride in a mean, mean machine Start it up" Mick Jagger is probably referring to a race car. More than likely a drag car. The next verse about his eyes dialating is what its like at the beginning of the race before the lights turn green. Its just my take on it..but hey, i'm not telling you anything that you dont already know. |
