i heard this song was about their band member that died. it sounds like from the song standpoint that it was suicide by jumping. "you should have seen, the curse that flew right by you, Page of concrete,Stain walks crutch in hobbled sway...Was he robbed of the asphalt that cushioned his face...stalk the ground" maybe i'm wrong but that just sounds like a jumper which gives awesome imagery to the song. oh well, i love this song so... |

this song hurts so bad. everytime i hear it i want to cry. when i was little, every day i would go down to my best friends house, and we would put boards up on trees and call it our fort. then we would go home for lunch, then be back at it again. everyday all summer. i really miss that cos we don't really hang out much anymore, its really sad how you can be so close to someone and then just change so differently. i fucking hate change. for the song, duane joseph was the singer Brett Detars best friend growing up <--came from him himself |

Yeah, kurt was sick. but if you wern't so stupid, maybe go read his Journals. then go read the suicide not. THE FUCKING SUICIDE NOTE IS JUST A JOURNAL ENTRY. IT WAS A LETTER TO THE FANS TELLING THEM THAT HE QUIT THE INDUSTRY, NOT TELLING THEM HE QUIT LIFE. and if you want to debate about the "For all of this she will be better off without me.." ITS COURTNEY LOVES HANDWRITING. I FUCKING DARE YOU TO PROVE ME WRONG. LOOK AT THE NOTE, THEN LOOK AT THE LETTER F and the letter P AND TELL ME THAT THAT IS NOT THE SAME AS COURTNEY LOVE'S HANDWRITING. also for you people who say its a conspiracy...look at the obvious facts, if kurt divorced courtney, which he was going to, she would get hardly anything, being a greedy psycho bitch she is, would rather take all of that, and her kid, which kurt was going to try for full custody for which he would have gotten from going through rehab. also, courtney paid el duce 50000 to murder kurt. THAT is a fact. so go ahead, maybe you like it better that kurt is seen as this depressed addict and would rather remember his music and him by thinking its all about drugs and death. ok, you all are so jaded. courtney definitely murdered kurt. ok. go to www.justiceforkurt.com if you have any balls to admit that you're wrong. kurt couldn't have physically pulled the trigger. he had valium + herion in his system. if you know anything about it, valium and heriondon't mix at all. let alone 3 times the lethal dose. there is no way he would be able to do that, put the syringe away neatly, and pull the gun with his toe! its not possible for him to commit suicide, especially now that courtney won't let anyone do anything. he was going to divorce her anyway, and if that happened, she would lose all but like 1% of Nirvana's stuff and lose her child. SO think about it, lose my $ and child or kill my husband. remember now she's crazy. oh fuck my rambling, just go to the website. and about the song...this is my favorite Nirvana song, especially "I will move away from here/you won't be afraid of fear"
