god...this song brings me to tears. marius finally realizes that eponine has done all this for him, and he sees that eponine is responsible for his happiness. he won't leave her side now...and if he could save her life by telling her that he loved her, then he would. because she's done all this for him. i agree w/ PRtwilight85, and i love how he kisses her as she dies. this part of the book brings me to tears too. |

this is the best song from les mis. she is secretly in love with her friend but nobody knows ["I love him, but only on my own"]. she dreams that someday maybe he'll love her too, but she knows it'll never happen because he's in love with someone else. even so, she'll always love him.
the lyrics and music are so amazing. the song is pure brilliance. |

call me crazy but this song reminds me of "waiting for life" from the musical Once on This Island...i happen to love both of the songs and think that the theme in both the songs is similar...does anybody else see/hear this or am i just crazy? |
