| Puff Daddy – Last Night Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| nukey... what the fuck is wrong with you? | |
| Le Tigre – F.Y.R. Lyrics | 20 years ago |
RU-486 is the abortion pill. Title 9 I'm pretty sure has something to do with preventing gender discrimination in education. |
| Sleater-Kinney – Milkshake 'N' Honey Lyrics | 21 years ago |
I think in the song, she sings "girl", but on the insert it's "guy". I could be wrong. |

| Modest Mouse – Blue Cadet-3, Do You Connect? Lyrics | 21 years ago |
"maybe his dad was a blue cadet, and they were talking on a radio, and he couldnt hear his dad so we was going "BLUE CADET DO YOU CONNECT?" for like an hour, and then someone shot his dads radio and tahts the last thing he heard from his dad. And then he wrote float on" CockaCola is right, I read it in an interview, |

| Walls Of Jericho – Full Disclosure Lyrics | 21 years ago |
| Fugazi has a song called Full Disclosure. | |
| Bright Eyes – The City Has Sex Lyrics | 21 years ago |
"but the sadness just sleeps and it stays in your spine for the rest of your life" This line reminds me of an STD. Herpes, actually. I'm not trying to be funny or an ass or anything, and I'm not saying that's what the song is about, but it does make me think of that. When the Herpes virus is domant, or "asleep", it pretty much just sits in a bundle of nerves at/near the base of the spine of the infected. And of course, it's there for the rest of your life. |

| Jawbreaker – Jinx Removing Lyrics | 21 years ago |
This was the first Jawbreaker song I heard, a loooooong time ago. They're still my favorite band, and this is one of my favorite songs. |
| Jawbreaker – Like A Secret Lyrics | 21 years ago |
| Could be someone just wants to feel happy for a little bit and not worry or stress over stuff. | |
| Jawbreaker – Crane Lyrics | 21 years ago |
Jawbreaker has some pretty interesting lyrics. I like these. I'm not sure if there's anything to really make out from them. In the begining it sounds like it's about things being really shitty, but towards the end it sounds a little more... "optimistic". |
| Jawbreaker – Friends Back East Lyrics | 21 years ago |
| Sounds like someone who wanted to make something out of themselves, so they moved away to try and do whatever, but things didn't work out so well. | |
| Jawbreaker – Lawn Lyrics | 21 years ago |
| I think this is about somebody who went through life doing all the things he was supposed to do (getting a job, getting married, settling down, and having kids) and then one day realized that he wasn't happy. | |
| Jawbreaker – Wound Lyrics | 21 years ago |
| Man, this band has some good lyrics. | |
| Jawbreaker – You Don't Know... Lyrics | 21 years ago |
| This is a Joan Jett song. I think they did a cover, or maybe somebody's just confused. | |
| Cake – Where Would I Be? Lyrics | 21 years ago |
| That's funny. | |
| Cake – It's Coming Down Lyrics | 21 years ago |
| This makes me think of one of those "break ups" where you really don't break up, just prentend like you're going to and then you stop being so pissed and change your mind. | |
| Cake – Up So Close Lyrics | 21 years ago |
I think you are retarded. But, you might have a point... then again probably not. |
| Radiohead – I Promise Lyrics | 21 years ago |
This reminds me of someone who was unfaithful or flakey, but they are sorry and don't want the other person to leave. They are saying even when there are problems, they'll stay and won't go back to their old ways. I think the lines: "Even when the ship is wrecked, I promise Tie me to the rotten deck, I promise" are saying that even if the relationship is damaged beyond repair, they'll stay and "go down with the ship", in a sense. |
| Hole – He Hit Me (And It Felt Like A Kiss) Lyrics | 21 years ago |
I was in an abusive relationship, and this really is how you start to think. Your brain gets so twisted up. People say "Oh, if my boyfriend hit me I'd be gone," but it's not that easy. You become so manipulated and confused. And plus, the abuser will often isolate the victim from friends and family, so all they have is the person who "loves" them so much they beat the shit out of em. That shit sticks with you, too. |
| Sunny Day Real Estate – In Circles Lyrics | 21 years ago |
I really cared about this guy (still do), and he had all these problems. It hurt me so bad to see him depressed like he was, and all I wanted to do was help him, but in the process I was getting brought down and hurt because I cared so much. |
