so basically what i mean is it's ok to say that blink sucks... but for the right reasons... like the fact that they're songs are all really simple and untalented. but it's dumb to say they suck because they are making money and a lot of people like them. i say kudos to them, they've fooled millions of people into thinking that they're talented musicians, and worthy of making a million dollars a day. |

to "punkfish" or whoever said that anti-flag couldn't become trendy and popular because of the things that they represent not being popular to society, there have been plenty of politically charged bands and bands that speak on issues that have become big. Rage Against the Machine is a recent example... and even like bob dylan is a social activist... still he's huge... plus the fact that anti-flag is already on fatwreckchords... which is pretty much a major label these days the only people that i've ever met opposed to anti-flag and what they stand for are veterans of war. My mom likes them, History teachers like them... it's not out of the ordinary for normal people to have an opinion on issues like world peace, unity, and political corruption and unjust. Plaided out punk wankers with mohawks are not the only people untouched by the system. Which is why punk is a bunch of bullshit. It doesn't take fast music, plaid pants, sleeveless Unseen shirts, and spikey hair to be politically conscious. And as for it being trendy for bands to become anti-government... right on. people too. Which is why people come on here quoting justin sane, and quoting other songs to represent their own views... because they don't have them... they adopt them from music that they hear, along with a million other trendies that gobble it up... and for the kid that wasn't sure if that quote was from martin luther king... jesus christ... 2 words...
