did you actually read the song or the meaning i posted or are you just whining about how you yourself are fake and must try to insult me in your fake way. you desperately need to hear atdi songs so they can open your eyes allowing you to see your own pitiful self. somehow it is not at all surprising that you dont understand the song. hopefully when your eyes are finally opened your are human enough to take back your words and grow up. you people are the reason atdi writes these songs. communication deficiency, i dont think so, maybe you have a reading deficiency keeping you from reading the lyrics and the mean. |

this song is about getting away. the title "paid vacation time" i think is referring to running away from things, not awlays problems, and it is paid for through suffering. the second stanza clearly explains it, the friends you though you had are not really your friends at all, they act like it to fit in or be cool or something childish like that and when you realize they are laughing at you not with you, you what to get away, not really commit suicide but get rid of those fake people hence trade it all for a tank full of fuel, to drive away from them. i am not sure what the bel aire colonial deluxe number five is but it reminds me of ordering at a drive through like the band name kinda. all the warmth that a boy can give is referring to the love of a naive person similar to a child that seems hollow after the realization of his fake friends. the sheepskin costume refers to how the fake friends are fake, a sheepskin is taken from something else like the child's purity before his fake friends. the sheepskin costume is noticable to someone that knows. the kind of costume to hide fucking fake ass friends from naive pure children. the truant officer is someone that catches late students in a school. if you think of life like a school the truant officer would be the one punishing the student that realizes the fakeness of his fake friends too late. i fucking hate fake people! this song is so fucking true. when i figured out the lyrics it changed me like the way fucking fake people change naive pure child. another example of just how real and great atdi is! |

this song has nothing to do with escaping a prison. it is about how wwe become handicapped by the information fed to us filter by gov. and then real research has to be secret. hit or miss is how well it is protected and how well the new unfilter info helps us-inmate break out of niavete-prison. the whole first stanza follows this idea. library laundromats has already been explained to fit my definition. the last 2 lines sum it all up. the gov chases down the free thinkers and silences them to maintain their information monolopy. the disease is free thinking and in my opinion that is no crime! but the gov sees it differently, disregarding rights to maintain it power! wow i think i am turning into an anarchist! atdi rules! |

i think this song is about role models but not like sports and actors. the steeple in line 3 could be a reference to the chruch and how they are not looked up to like they used to be hence line 7 who we gonna look to now be hollywood and sports. the second stanza doesnt have to have a mean to me, if these walls could speak, i wouldnt tell them anything and i feel like that a lot. the thirds stanza is about how things get covered up to protect the stupid hollywood and sports role models, the tape being evidence in a case or something or a reference to the lost reagan tapes? an other cover up i think. just another song proving atdi is the best ban ever! |

this is my all time favorite ATDI song! just listen to the emotion in his voice! i think he is talking about his mood swings that the life a a musican put him through. sonic sounds being ATDI music. blue screen mind is a reference to computer - ms windows goes to a blue screen error message page when it really funks up. where's my savior i think is him questioning religion in his daily troubles. i think the last 3 line are about how people get stuck waiting for a future evnet to come (maybe love) and dont take action like they should, hence waiting for the now of which they are unsuspecting. greatest atdi song ever! |

i am not sure what this song means exactly, but the lines "we drank ourselves to sleep on the mistletoe concrete," are sweet! I am pretty sure this song is about the effects of and the reasons people drink. The crying over spilled milk is people drinking about their small problems and making them worse. The mistloe concrete is you kissing the ground after too many! The paper cuts are more small problems. Ears kissing the ground is self evident. Good song! |

This is one of the best ATDI song ever off all their CD's. I like the line "i wish i was an astronaut" the best, the way he sings it slaps me every time! I think this song is about careers and what he wanted to do but now he has to work 8 hours a day at a job he dislikes. |

The begin of this song, the phone conversation, should be on here! That is the weirdest beginning of a song ever! I like figuring out the means of their songs but that beginning thing is impossible! The rest of the song is about a kidnapping and ransom. I think they try to point out how we are all held for ransom in some ways. |

I think this song is about weapons. The song title gives it away, arc is the math term for inverse, so an arc arsenal would be something the opposite of an arsenal. I think then towards the end of the song they start to question the leadership of a nation that develops weapons, ignores the people that the system is designed to serve, and does what it wants. |
