The idea that we are all sinners and evil by nature is foolish and detrimental to any sort of change for the better. Yes, there are a lot of bad things in the world, but if everyone would remove their heads from the sand they would see that there is also plenty of good. We are all similar deep down, but similar in our capacity for good and for evil, not just evil. And the very idea of evil is dumb in my opinion. If people would be more inclined to take other's perspectives, they might realize that had they lived the life that that person lived through their eyes, they probably would have turned out "evil" too. If you want my advice, be happy with who you are, do your best to make others happy, and live your life not in fear of whether or not you're a sinner. But yeah, the song is awesome and sorry for that rambling but you were all frustrating me. |

I believe you're right, koawmfot. Also, the lines for the second verse are "And if Jesus is the straight path that saves then I'm condemned to live my whole life on the curve (or maybe curb) On the crossroads with the devil I'll dwell and I'll count my years" I can definitely relate to this song as well. |

"and the last one tore a picture from the pornographic page and all the pleasure points attacking all the looks of love lorn state(?) and it's a lie that you've been given that hurts you every day so why should i lie here naked when it's just too far away" goes after second verse and before "from anything we could call loving" |
