Awesome song...If you look at the translation (or you can read French), you can see it's a kind of a rejected love thing. He asked the moon, and it made fun of him; however, I don't know who the sun is. |

Well, this is definetly a love song, but I think it's more of a painful, despairing love. Since when has "yellow" come to mean love? yellow usually means sickly or dying, like someone's pale and dying skin. And as far as "For you I bleed myself dry", do you think that's a good thing? It means he feels drained by this person, physically or emotionally. Also, this dosen't exactly sound like a happy song, at least to me. |
