I think this song is about sexual abuse, and how in children/teens they are afraid to report that such a thing has happened, and how the family is afraid to report it since they don't want to bring discrage upon their family. I got that from the line "I was ashamed", also I think the song means like what AAALEX1 says how a town or people you love go insane. I don't know thats just my opinion |
