i love this song. the ending is so haunting. it sounds to me like another reference to his grandfather. but im making that up so don't listen to me. and yes this IS Play Crack The Sky. so much anticipation of this cd has been getting everyone confused. take it for what it is and enjoy it. |

if the guys from brand new ever read all this they would probbly laugh that we are all saying these things but don't know for sure. its great tho so im going to throw my two sense in. im guessing the song is called guernica because the town was pounded relentlessly without reason, like people with cancer are pounded relentlessy by the disease until they are worn into nothing. and yes it IS about his grandfather for a fact b/c Jesse said so during the tour. this was the only song from the new album they played at The Met Cafe show (best show of my life) |

jesus christ. idk wut could be better. i saw these guys in providence with Brand New and Orange ISland. they r so amazing. i had never heard them before that, but i am hooked by there talent. their stage presence is the best ive seen. |

I have loved OI forever, and this is my favorite song. Not only does it sound great instrumentally, but it also has such deep lyrics. I really love lyrics that refer to looking deep inside yourself. i dont know why...i just like people to be real i guess. when i saw OI in december '02 Dave said this is his fave song too. *sigh* check them out, they're awesome. www.orangeisland.net |
