Ha ha. No...they don't just sing about their lives. I don't think this is about their lives either. This is my fave "new" song from SOAD. I think it is about how people living in the U.S. celebrate the country even though it is still really screwed up. For the alternate song titles, they never really had a real name....that is why there are so many alternate titles. I'm pretty sure it is K.I.T.T.....but i have seen it under "Why" as well. |

Has anyone noticed that this song sounds kinda similar to SOAD's "Spiders"? If u listen to both the beginning of this song, and spiders, u will know what i'm talking about. I know they are completely different songs lyrically, and through different parts of the song musically, but the sound in some parts is are alike. I wonder why this is so. I hadn't even noticed it until I heard this song about 5 times, then listened to Spiders. Kinda weird anyways. I dunno. |

SOAD is comin' out with a music video for this song. Now watch, 100 more posts on this song the week the video comes out. Look at Toxicity and Chop Suey. Augh. I hate people like this. How bout buyin the cd, cuz all the songs kick ass. I really don't think this song has an actual meaning anyways. Referring to another post on a different song, someone says that SOAD does songs about their life. It's true. Although u would expect a meaning from a band that has powerful lyrics. Not all songs have actual meanings behind them, actually most don't if u really think about it. I dunno.

Hmm. Sellouts? Not even close. Sellouts are bands who do a different style of music to piss off their fans, and do whatever it takes to get famous. SOAD does not even come close to that description. Was their first album better? I dunno. It's tought to decide, it's your opinion. I like alotta songs from their self-titled album, and toxicity. But they did not sellout, just cuz they are getting to be a bigger band. |
