I interviewed the band in November of 2002, right before they played in Calgary, and I got the 'down lo' on what this song is truly about. For the record, it is about anal sex and how Chad really enjoys it. Unfortunately, he is so infatuated with anal sex that it's all he thinks about. Eventually he had to resort to having anal sex with hobos in return for a hot meal.....this reminded him of the anal sex he use to have with his girlfriend and her father (he actaully got Chad turned onto the whole idea!!). Well there you have it. Nickleback rules......great song, truly creative -- i'll play it at my funeral no doubt!!!! |

Puddle Of Crap.....I don't post hateful messages often, but this time I was hoestly compelled to. This band is a joke, there lyrics are awful and their creativity is comparable to that of a corpse. Please people, GOOD music is the language of the spirit and a true gift from human to human. PoM is truly what is wrong with the music industry as they lack any real substance, let alone any soul. Go buy or download some Pink Floyd, Nick Drake, Sigur Ros, Pearl Jam, Dave Matthews, Queens of the Stone Age, King Crimson, Portishead, Robert Johnson, etc........ Show the music industry that knock-off "alternative pop" and "punk pop" bands like Puddle of Mud will not be tolerated by the intelligent listening public. |

I think that this song is about a guy asking his girlfriend to try anal sex but, unfortunately, she just won't go for it. In the end, he still gets regular sex but his girlfriend now mocks him and jokes that he is a wannabe "chocolate pudding pusher". |
