To me this song is about 2 people, the guy and girl (obviously). It seems that maybe the girl broke it off with him or let him go because she felt he didnt have the same feelings she did, or as mentioned in the song.. " Im not your star"... as in she doesnt mean as much to him as he does to her. Also about him taking this girl for granted... and if this is what it takes just to lie with my mistakes and live with what I did to you all the hell I put you through I always catch the clock it's 11:11 and now you want to talk And him hurting her... and all the things he did to her in the past that he now regrets... "They'll never hurt you like I do." He truely loved her, although his actions did not show it. |
