Well lets get off how good the new album is because if anyone ever ahd any doubts about where brand new was going, they no longer do. Less can be said about TBS unfortunatnly. If one things for sure this album is the final shot to TBS, because i dont think TBS has what it takes to top a peace of art like this, Now for the meaning of the song. I thin its about his dad, and his dad not agreeing with Jesse's lifestyle. Much like the same relationship i have with my father, which is probably why i connected to it so much. Well i always say take the song for what it means to you, and thats what it means to me.

I think this song is about a person just waiting and letting life pass them by. They have the ambition to get out there, but not the energy, and they are just waiting for something to happen to him or her, instead of them finding that something.

HAHA JetBlack, someones been on the Thursday Fan Site lately. You jsut repeated facts off there fact sheet haha, but its ok. Unfortunanly i consider TBS emo, and i dont like MCR much. Matchbook Romance, now theres an awesome band, and they dont have many songs about ex's at all really. Thursday is the most influential band in the rock industry today, and they will continue to be, if you cant except it, then listen to rap or country, becuase Good Charlotte and taht will be gone in about a year.

Thursday's best yet. I hope they lean more to this style for the next album, but i need not to worry, becauase whatever Thursday does, its gonna rock. This was the bset song at the live show, and they are the most incrediable experience live. They play with their hearts, and it shows live. Ive never been to or heard a band sound as good as Thursday does live. They are the best when your feeling down, they are the best when your feeling up, they are the best and despite what the fakes might say, this is what feel-good music is all about. Who wants to listen to fake crap about how happy life, i may sound like a ass right now, but lets all be honest, life sucks, and in order to enjoy it we need to realize and admit how much it does. Old folks and idiots can listen to there crappy "feel-good" music that helps them excape from reality, but i like to stay as close to it as possible. Thursdays poetry is what music is all about, and i never feeling as good as i am when i listen to Thursday.

Actually i read at there new site, www.thursday.net, that jet balck was an eperiement, and although some of there new stuff might have simularites, they arent gonna change there direction to drastically that way. Either way, Thursday is the best band today, the best band live, the best band to listnet to when your feelign blue, the best badn to listen to when your happy, the best band to listent to when your bored, and finally the best band to ever make sucha huge impact on the world of music. Thursday is here to stay, and im glad to say ive been with them form the beggining

My interpretation was similar. I tohguht in the beggining when hes singing about the door that maybe its about a girl who used to be one of the rejects and now she has had a peak into the popular world. She doesnt like it and wants to go back. Shes already tired of this new world, she liked being able to express herself for who she was and is, and not (like lunch box said) what everyone else wants her to be like. THats my interpretation, and im greatful the songmeanings community is comign back alive.

This song is a masterpeice. A masterpeice of rythm, lyrics, and beat all strewn together in a caotic yet perfect way. I really get sick of immature kids posting immature comments like "this song is gay." Please children, get a life or go out side and play cops and robbers or something else at that intellegence level. Your not worthy to post comments if you cant make a good argument or a good point. Just becuase you dont agree that they are good doesnt mean you have to offend everyone that does. Just becuase its higher then your blink 182, or good charlotte or some shit on the top 100 viewed really doesn mean nothing. People like it deal with it.

Obviously they are a great band, and obviously punk/emo/hardcore (whatever you wanna call it) from the same area is gonna sound similar. I think they sound more like Saves the Day with a little of Thursday's more hardcore guitar riffs thrown in. Hey and Overcover, sorry to say, but Thursday is pretty much the best band live, period. I even went at a pretty large venue (House of Blues) and just the way everyone just completely stopped to just rock witht he music. Even the moshing came to a standstill, everyone was just rocking. Ive gotten outta hand, anyways, lets try and get a conversation going about what this song means.
