i remember hearing a compilation back in like 2000 and it had this song on it....simply amazing, one of my favorite songs of all time. check out "the woods are burning" another classic. hell, just go download their whole cd, "a newer more shattered you" just a great album overall, these guys fucking rock! |

this song is amazing...especially the breakdown at the end...but are all these lyrics correct? in the second line it sounds more like "I burn myself" instead of "I learned about myself" i don't know, just throwin it out there. either way a great song from a great musician. if you like these guys and are into some harder sounding stuff, check out ignite....zoli is still the lead singer but they rock way harder |

by far my favorite apc song....it's incredibile. anyway, i agree with the majority of people - it's a song about people who have conquered a drug addiction and think they are the chosen ones, the people that have been through hell and back and must teach people how not to fall in the same hole that they fell in, yet they fail to realize that they should fix the problems from the past that their addiction created. however, i believe the lyrics can have a much broader meaning. it can relate to anything....drugs, murder, a horrible mistake....that's what makes these lyrics so beautiful - they deal with anyone that has made a wrong choice in the past and have overcome those mistakes yet, those people also have to understand that there is still someone or something out there that needs to be fixed because of the wrong choices they've made.....goddamn this song is so incredible it brings a tears to my eyes |
