ok passioinsignite's... tell me this y does he say "pushed" to our knees so let us pray... i think the song means that society in general here in america is so fixed on religion and putting a religion other than urs down and saying it is wrong... and it is generally christians who force their religion upon other people that practice another faith.... so i think davey is saying that when he looks to his species and tremble hes talkin about how forcefull people can be about religion... im prolly wrong but thats my interpretation... peace all |

ok guys most of u r right on this one.....how there has been a tradgedy in davey's life and how hes bitter to god and everything... but the reason davey is bitter to god is that he has a skin disease im sure ur all aware of....incase u havent been to warped tour and seen him walking around in his black tuxedo and pink umbrella... its not bc he thinks its funny... its bc the sun burns his skin when its exposed... hence the part of the song where he looked up at the sun and it burned him... that is his bad experience w/ god and now he feels lost and abandoned... and he feels that he has things on his side(reasons) to be bitter towards god. there ya go... this song is fucking awesome to |
