if this song really touches you as a true autobiography of our nation then there's another band who's sole message is that. look up the lyrics to Corporate Avenger. All their songs are about the contradiction of religion and the corruptness of society. very deep...but make sure to read it with an open mind!

oh yeah and another thing for all you "PuNk RaWkErs" you guys piss me off...some punk has the same lyrical content as eminem..take glassjaw for example..one of my alltime favorite bands! daryl is so talented and writes really anger ridden lyrics against his ex-gf and calls her a "fucking whore" much like eminem..it's all about expressing your feelings! yeah you guys probably don't even know glassjaw since you guys are too busy listening to good charlotte and simple plan or some other of those teenybopper pop music they try to play off as punk. |

oh yeah and as for the race issue..read the lyrics to "white america"! race issues and other discrimination isnt only against blacks or gays or whatnot..it's just whatever is the minority..obviously if you're a white person living in oakland or harlem or whatnot you're not going to have the best experience since i'm sure the "majority" over there will discriminate against you for being different.. same thing with eminem trying to break into the rap music industry but always getting shot down because he is a different skin color. besides you can NOT "act" a race..that is just the most sterotypical thing i've ever heard. so if all black people are "supposed" to speak ebonics and dress in fubu, why dont you explain the black people in england or france? just because you're a certain skin color doesnt mean you have to act a certain way! you guys are all ignorant if you guys can't see the lyrical genius he has..ok i don't even listen to or like rap AT ALL...but i think his 'flows' are like modern poetry..he's really brash and direct and probably has anger management problems but that doesn't make him a bad person! ok yeah he calls girls "bitches" and "whores" or whatever but that's because he's angry and you guys sure as all heck know there's ALOT of girls who definetely deserve to be called those names. i like him just because he doesn't care what people think..he sure as all hell knows his lyrics offend people but he's not going to conform to make people happy. he's expressing his emotions and his opinions through his music. so for all you guys who think he's a "bad person" for thinking this stuff you guys are probably stuck up ignorant vain naive and selfish children who never experienced life outside the white picket fence and brady bunch issues. |
