This song is great... 'Challenge comes and goes and there will be another, I say bring it on the roots that grow underground are as big as the tree that you see if not it will fall down " i absolutly love this lyric.. it means that challenges in your life will happen, so you might as well be ready for them. grow your own roots- whatever makes you strong, and the challenges wont be so difficult to overcome. |

I think this song is pretty self explainatory... this girl he's singing about is something special, she makes him a new man and no matter what happens-fights, distance, misunderstandings, this girl should know that he loves her a lot, and stupid little things wont get in the way of that |

| I actually heard that this song, along with 'the show must go on' was written after he found out he had AIDS. From what i know, he didnt tell the public that he had AIDS until shortly before his death, so maybe this was his way of dealing and coping with reality. Whatever the meaning, it is a very good and powerful song. | |
