i agree with everyone who said this song was about kurt's stomach pains. from what ive read i think that kurt continued to use heroin because it made the pain go away, and that it made him numb, but i dont think this song has to do with the withdrawl. I'm on warm milk and laxatives Cherry-flavored antacids: he was probably using all of these, including herion to get rid of the pain. I'm so tired I can't sleep I'm anemic royalty: obviously if he is in so much pain he was unable to sleep much and he was probably unable to eat without it hurting, making him anemic. Distill the life that's inside of me: i think this line just means that he wants to purify or rid his body of this "evil life" or pain inside his stomach. hes just personifying the disease/problem he has. ...then again, i could be wrong. |
