There's too much going on, she's wandering aimlessly, but "it's calm under the waves of my blue oblivion": She's withdrawn, she's found peace within, under the sea, real life goes on above. I disagree with FeyTH above. She used to sail the tranquil sea: she used to be above, "in" life, but she's sunk down underneath now oblivious to the rest of the world. He washed her ashore, took her pearl and left her an empty shell, I love this line. A beautiful way to say, he broke her heart. |
