Coheed and Cambria – Cassiopeia Lyrics 21 years ago
Okay, we have the lyrics and how great Co|Ca is established, but does anyone have anything to say about the meaning of the song? I can't come up with much myself and the title really throws me off.

Yes, I know it's the oldest supernova in our galaxy and all the mythology, even all that of Andromeda and all the way down the family tree. I still can't make sense of it, can anyone make a connection?

Deftones – 7 Words Lyrics 21 years ago
All Mighty Luke is right on. The seven words are, "you have the right to remain silent". It is definately about racial profiling and the beginning of the Miranda rights fits perfectly.

Thrice – Kill Me Quickly Lyrics 21 years ago
I think he's saying he wants to kill himself and his significant other because he is sick of all the hate, violence, etc., perhaps especially in America. I also think he is inconsistent in this song. He is sick of killing, so he's going to get away from it by killing more. Also, suicide is always cowardly; in this context it's even more pusillanimous.

Taking Back Sunday – Great Romances of the 20th Century (Demo version) Lyrics 21 years ago
You probably can't download it. However, I'm sure that you could very easily go to the movie store and spend a couple dollars to rent it. It's also on TV sometimes, perhaps TBS or TNT. I've only seen parts of it, it doesn't look very good.

The Ataris – Fast Times at Drop-Out High Lyrics 21 years ago
Yes, it's from Good Will Hunting. I think it's about old friends that he no longer has. The feelings of lonliness and sadness that can come from nostalgia of the loss of great friends is very powerfull. Good song.

Coheed and Cambria – Cassiopeia Lyrics 21 years ago
Does anyone know the signifigance of the title? I know all the mythology and whatnot, but I can't make any sense of it. I have also heard that Claudio's old snake was named Cassiopeia.
