| Linkin Park – Burning in the Skies Lyrics | 15 years ago |

When I listened to the whole album, I definitely interpreted a war/environmental theme and 'Burning In The Skies' is all about the love affair with humans and the earth. We treat earth like shit both environmental and through acts of war 'I use the deadwood to make the fire rise' 'I'm swimming in the smoke Of bridges I have burned' 'The blood of innocence burning in the skies' and In the end we were never meant to co-exist 'And in the end we were made to be apart Like separate chambers of the human heart' 'The blame is mine alone / for bridges I have burned' 'So don't apologize / I'm losing what I don't deserve' |

| Linkin Park – The Catalyst Lyrics | 15 years ago |
|
When I listened to the whole album, I definitely interpreted a war theme and The Catalyst is all about how it will all start to happen. This will ultimately lead to extinction of our human race. Reminds me a lot of "What I've Done" off of Minutes to Midnight, where I think he was singing about the guilt (and ultimate forgiveness) of how we as a human race have treated our planet. This instead is really just a sequel to that, where it is too late to do anything . . . God bless us everyone We're a broken people living under a loaded gun And it can't be outfought It can't be outdone It can't be outmatched It can't be outrun And ultimately we are at fault for destroying ourselves God save us everyone Will we burn inside the fires of a thousand suns For the sins of our hands The sins of our tongue The sins of our fathers The sins of our young No |

| Linkin Park – Robot Boy Lyrics | 15 years ago |

When I listened to the whole album, I definitely interpreted a war theme and Robot Boy immediately made me think of a Solider. The other theme running through this album seems to be the bands transition to a new sound. It was then that I thought the song was bout how the fans want LP to be 'Robots' and produce the same music. In both cases, it takes big shoulders to carry forward when there are very little supporters of what you are doing. |

| Cartel – This Is Who We Are Lyrics | 17 years ago |

great song - incredible guitar My opinion: The overall theme in the song is to stay grounded in life. It may have some correlation to the band becoming instantly famous on MTV and how they struggle with staying the same people they were before the stardom. |

| Disturbed – Remember Lyrics | 23 years ago |

Saw an interview on MuchMusic on a show called Uranium where David explains the songs meaning. He stated that it is hard to go back and live a normal life, now that he and other band members are "famous". He often feels he hides behind a mask and it hard to really be himself. |
