here's my take on the song: it's definetly about a break up "if i can't let myself be happy now, then when?" - speaking of how this girl is dealing with the break up "the mindless comfort grows, when i'm alone with my great plans" - if you've ever just planned out your entire life around someone you've loved, and then the relationship ends, you'll know what he's talking about "i close my eyes and believe, wherever you are, an angel for me" -best line EVER....so beautiful...he still loves this girl even after they are through. this song really helped me through a devastating break up recently...anyone that needs help getting through it, just listen to this song...it speaks volumes with such simple lyrics overall, the most beautiful song (next to Konstantine by SoCo) ever! |

i actually like the CD version much better.. it just sounds a lot cleaner and i love the keyboard parts. anyways, the best line in the album, at least to me is: "if it's not keeping you up nights, then what's the point?" anyone that's felt like they were devastated by a break up while their ex just wasn't should be able to relate to this line....that's my two cents. |
