It was Nicholas II. His daughter was Anastasia, and then several years later a woman came around claiming to be Anastasia, actually alive. However, at this point there is DNA evidence proving that the real Anastasia died along Nicholas and the rest of the family. Anyways, this song is amazing. One of my favorites by The Stones. |

Never read the story by Ray Badbury, but it sounds interesting, I should look for it. Has anyone heard the Kate Bush cover? Awesome cover, in my opinion. |

This is definitely one of the greatest songs ever by the Beatles, and George is and was always my favorite Beatle. Dont know why, just something about him struck me in a way the other three didn't. Anyways, amazing song, lyrics are so true and sincere, plus its got one of the most wonderful guitar solos ever written. Not too hard to play, but god damn, its well written. |

I am going to say most people who have posted rock, but some are totally wrong. Post-waters crap? Are you kidding? Waters is totally overrated. Listen to his solo work (Pros and Cons of Hitch Hiking, Radio K.A.O.S.) then listen to About Face, by David Gilmour. While Radio K.A.O.S. is a decent album, About Face shows that David Gilmour was the true musical genius behind the band. Roger Waters stole the credit. Sure, he wrote good lyrics, but look at the music. Musically, The Wall (written by Waters) is nothing compared to Dark Side of the Moon or (written largely by Gilmour) or Wish You Were Here (also written largely by Gilmour.) Gilmour brought back the old Pink Floyd, and this album is brilliant. Gilmour was a worthy successor to the Pink Floyd mantle, and Waters was an egotistical asshole. Also note: the one truly amazing song on The Wall (musically) would be Comfortably Numb, which was written by (surprise! surprise!) David Gilmour. Oh, and by the way, THIS SONG ROCKS. |

The album is about Record Companies and Syd Barrett. I find it somewhat ironic that Wish You Were Here isn't actually a tribute to Barrett (primarily, at any rate) despite how perfectly it tributes him. However, Shine On You Crazy Diamond is a Barrett tribute. |

To modest-mouse and all other people who are upset about Modest Mouse being popular...
I know what you all mean, its happened to me with other bands, but i didn't even know Modest Mouse was popular now. I live in Seattle, so they're a local band to me, and always have been. When did they get so big? |
