I used to listen to this song pre-9/11 and thought nothing of it, really. But post-9/11, it made a little more sense.. er, I guess I shouldn't say that. It related a little more towards me. "Seconds click in which I'm changed to dust." That really hit home for me when I was watching all the men and women covered in ashes on TV. And then of chorus, "I'm so sick of goodbyes." Which is pretty obvious. |
