Man this song is amazing...no doubt. I believe its trying to convey the idea that we just need to be content in our ignorance or something along those lines. Like a ancient Taoist philosopy of just letting everything work itself without your interference. Man, I'm babbling. I also like the interpertations that everyone else posted...Oh, and it makes me sad that an emo kid posted these lyrics, emo music blows...so hard. so does the entire emo mindset. With my limited knowledge of dispatch, and the way they stand as far as religon, it would be fool-hearty of me to assume that this song refers to Jesus. I believe that it most likely refers to the fact that we need to trust in our elders and those of wisdom and learn when to fight for a worthy cause, and when to promote peace for foolish causes.
