this song conjures up a lot of memories from high school for me. towards the end of senior year, my friend alex had a party, and we had been drinking a bit. i couldnt get to sleep and i was feeling sort of depressed. in the early morning while the sun was breaking behind the overcast sky, while everyone was passed out in various places around her house, i left to get my car parked in her big yard, and it was really misty and foggy and beautiful outside...which is just like how i felt inside. it was a sunday morning, and as i was driving home i played this song, and it went perfectly with what i was experiencing...trying to drive myself into recovery emotionally and physically on a sunday morning after a night of drinking and *stuff.* clarity is one of the best albums ever. |

this song is quite lovely, i put it on this "make out mellow-not-so-mellow playlist" that i doctored up to play when some boy came over to my dorm. the transitions in the song paralleled nicely with transitions in kissing. i don't think poison the well intended for their song to be used in this way, but hey: you do what you can. all in all, poison the well is good. |
