HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!! Speyside = made up! Lol! Firstly, I love this song, I percieve it to be about complacency and not caring about the dumbing down of the Western world - yes, America and also the UK etc. Secondly, I had to laugh because...believe it or not....Speyside is 1) an area in Scotland, where I LIVE! and 2) a whisky - well, actually like a group of whiskies - like Glenlivet, Glenfiddich, Chivas Regal and Glen Grant etc. Speyside isn't like a state or a province - it's just an area that takes in Moray, the Highlands and Aberdeenshire. If you're interested, there is a Whisky Trail that goes from a place called Tomintoul past Elgin, Lhanbryde and Fochabers to where I live, a place called Garmouth which is on the shore of the North Sea!! I think JEW were referring to the drinks more than the area, but fuck-all bands come to Scotland, so a JEW tour of Speyside would be appreciated!!! If you need more info, email me.
