after a bad break up in a relationship that lasted 6 years, you'd think every emo song would make me want to puke. But this song ..... its perfect. It's the only song that makes me want to experience love again and even all it's imperfections.
Personally it like this version more than Postal Service's. As trippy as PSs version is, this really makes you absorb the lyrics. |

i think when he says "please bleed" he is tryin to say that he wants to know if what is happening is real and he is really human because of what he has caused - so much pain and distress.
i think the refrence to blood is in relation to being human. |

i think it means that even tho the enevitable has happend, you cant help but be sad. Sometimes its sad to leave things behind, but sometimes it just has to be done. I feel this is what this song is about coz ive experienced it. |
