I can relate to this song so well. Meghan, I feel like we both took off for college trying to move on and get away from everything, but we ruined our relationship in the process. I swear this song could be about my life. In fact this entire album totally relates to what I've been going through these past months. "This isn't the way we planned I wasn't supposed to forget your taste" This is about going through a long distance relationship, which is what I've been going through with my girlfriend since we both left for different colleges. However it was too hard for her, and we ended up splitting up, and now theres the new pain of losing my girlfriend. This album really follows the different emotions that I've gone through, and it's really helped me through this difficult breakup. Thanks Chris. |

Silverchair continues to produce, and orchestrate amazing music, album after album. It's great to see a band try something new each time, almost giving a new perspective to the band. This is a great love song, about knowing that your perfect someone is out there, and about waiting for that person to show up in your life, and when they do you'll know it. I'm still waiting for that person to show up in my life, "and ive waited for you so ill keep holding on without you, without you,without you" simply a great song! |

This song reminds me so much of my own life. I grew up in a beach town on the CT shoreline, and me and my girlfriend ended up going to colleges far away from each other. To me, this song is about our christmas break, and how we'll finally be back together with each other, and time will last forever when we hold each other. "This winter is lasting forever, at least for tonight" and just to let everyone know, a long distance relationship is a very painful thing to endure, but it's also well worth the sacrifice, it really puts your relationship in good perspective |
