"Old School" loops (what I THINK) is an old Hanna-Barbara music snippet. I recognize part of it from the opening frames of "Kill Bill," where Tarantino used it as music behind the "Feature Presentation" graphic"

Maybe the woman in the song is trying to understand the man's thoughts, which is why she tells him to hold still, so that she can stare at the back of his head and "read" the man's mind. Or, his weather.. systems.

It seems to me that he's in love with someone extremely superficial, hence: "All the centrefolds that you can't afford", meaning they mean nothing to that person, or vice versa. He's saying it's time to move on, because he's "been waiting far too long" and accept the fact you can't always have the flawless beauty.

This song makes me happy. And the whole Blink/NFG/Boxcar crap is annoying. I don't like those bands, nor do i dislike them, but I'm not going to hate a band just because it's the 'trendy' thing to do. Not saying everyone bashing them is just following the trend, but I know some people are. |
