Wow, white power, your friend is slightly misinformed. This song is great, it's so weird and unorganized yet organized. I like it better than Meth's take on it, that's for sure. Meth's song is boring as hell. Then again it was really old and old rap wasn't as it is today.. hmm.. |

This is one of my personal favorites. I'm not sure but I think all songs have meanings, something had to inspire them. My interpretation: I think he plays 4 roles in this song: Golden I (as in himself), a boy, a girl, and the cock. I think he's basically saying, when he's himself and trys to find someone else (girlfriend/boyfriend) he does ok for a while, then it falls apart because he fucks it up: "i wrote the note so you can watch me hang myself", when he trys to meet new people he sucks at being the regular girl or boy (this hints at his unsureness of his own sexuality maybe?), and the cock sort of represents his horniness to put it bluntly - and that's what makes him return to trying to be with other people. It's like a vicious little jimmy urine loop. Well, that's my 2 cents. |
