| The whole Buddy Holly and MTM being an item is soo unlikely since Buddy Holly died in '59 at 22. But yeah, the whole thing about the song being about a relationship that everyone nitpicks at is pretty relevant and the different races thing makes sense only coz' of the "your tongue is twisted, ur eyes are slit" line. Well, if u don't analyse this song, it makes absolutely no sense what-so-ever! But I luv it all the same! Esp, the end when the chorus is overlapping those other words: If you want to destroy my sweater [I don't want to destroy your tank-top] Hold this thread as I walk away [Let's be friends and just walk away].... I luv it, it's great and yeah this song is probably about a relationship but that whole premature ejaculation thing is hilarious and it actually kinda works... only in the 2nd verse though. |
